The Old Royalist Association of New Zealand (ORANZ) was formally inaugurated on October 5, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the Royalist community in Aotearoa. The occasion also included the Association’s inaugural Annual General Meeting (AGM), held at St. Chad’s Church & Community Centre in Auckland. The following founding committee was appointed: President: Sam Kodi, Vice President: Bhagya Wijeratne, Treasurer: Geethika Guruge, Secretary: Mukhlis Ismail. Committee Members: Saman Edirisooriya, Channa Ranasinghe QSM, Jayantha Nanayakkara, Shyamike Dissanayake, Senthuran Arulanantham, Sadeep Keerthiratna, Mahesh Hettiarachchi, Mafaaz Ismail and Tharuka Imal.
A historic 10-day rugby tour featuring the Royal College 1st XV team. The tour included matches against New Zealand schools, training with All Blacks coaches, and meeting Sir Graham Henry.
